Step 1: Initial call (2 minutes). You call (772) 758-1322. We ask for your vehicle's year, make, model, and VIN. We verify what key type your vehicle uses and give you an exact quote. No surprises.
Step 2: Dispatch (response time varies). We dispatch to your Port St Lucie location. Average response time: 20-40 minutes depending on our current position and traffic.
Step 3: Verification (5 minutes). We verify vehicle ownership with your registration, title, or insurance card plus matching photo ID. This protects you from unauthorized key making.
Step 4: Key cutting (5-10 minutes). We cut the key blade on our mobile machine. For standard keys, we trace from your existing key or cut from VIN code data. For laser keys, we use our CNC machine with manufacturer specifications.
Step 5: Programming (10-20 minutes). We connect to your vehicle's OBD-II port (the diagnostic port under the dashboard) and program the new key's transponder chip to match your immobilizer. The car's computer registers the new key as authorized.
Step 6: Testing (5 minutes). We test the new key in every function: door locks, trunk, ignition start, and steering wheel lock release. We do not leave until every function works perfectly.
